The Compassionate Quilters were formed on Oct 1, 2014 as a volunteer effort to assist those in need in our community. We have a passion for quilting and give our Quilts to anybody that suffers from loss or displacement.
We meet every Wednesday from the beginning of September to the end of May. We are situated at the Shady Oak Lodge Activity Room and Welcome anyone wishing to spend the day with us. We have our own sewing machines and for non-sewers there are other tasks to do. Most Wednesdays we start at 9 am and work till 3 pm but volunteers may come or leave whenever it suits.
