What is Geocaching?
Geocaching is a worldwide outdoor activity that combines technology, exploration, and adventure. Participants use the official geocaching app or GPS device to search for hidden caches placed in interesting locations.
Each cache may contain:
- A logbook to sign your name
- Small tradeable items or trinkets
- Information about the area or local history
Once you find the cache:
- Sign the logbook
- Return the cache exactly where you found it
- Log your find online through the Geocaching app
